Sadiyah Ahmad is a dedicated attorney whose passion is advocating for her clients and providing quality legal services. As a first-generation attorney, Sadiyah values providing accessible legal services for clients from all backgrounds and understands varying needs clients may have. Throughout her legal career, Sadiyah has worked in client-facing, litigation, and policy roles. Regardless of where she is, Sadiyah enjoys learning, growing, and supporting her clients. Prior to joining Dillman & Owen, Sadiyah worked at a legal aid organization in Indianapolis that provided trauma-informed legal representation to migrant children fleeing danger in their home countries.
Sadiyah earned her Bachelor of Science in Public Management and Policy from Georgia State University in 2018 and earned her Juris Doctor from DePaul University College of Law in 2024. While in law school, Sadiyah demonstrated strong leadership by serving on boards for several student organizations and becoming a Peggy Browning Fellow. Her experience in nonprofit advocacy and labor rights further fuels her commitment to client advocacy, community empowerment, and social justice, making her a great member of Dillman &Owen’s Estate and Elder Law Team as our Planning, Care, & Benefits Associate Attorney.
When not practicing law, Sadiyah enjoys creating wheel-thrown ceramics, traveling, and spending time with her husband and cat. As a former barista, Sadiyah appreciates the skill and craftsmanship that goes into a great cup of coffee and enjoys trying different coffee shops throughout Indianapolis.
